Time Out says

We're happy to see that the Connie Converse renaissance is still in full swing. Converse, a remarkable songsmith—her work can sound like a folksinger's take on Tin Pan Alley—recorded a number of highly intriguing originals in the mid-’50s, before shelving her dreams of a music career and eventually disappearing altogether in 1974. Here soprano Charlotte Mundy and pianist Christopher Goddard perform never-before-heard Converse art songs, discovered in manuscript form after the composer's mysterious exit.
