Craig Taborn Quintet

CareFusion Jazz Festival. A fascinating keyboardist, Craig Taborn has more often been heard in a supporting role—alongside Tim Berne or as a member of the Gang Font, to name two noteworthy examples—than as a bandleader. Here he's at the helm of a fine five-piece, with saxist Chris Speed, trumpeter Jonathan Finlayson, bassist Thomas Morgan and drummer Dan Weiss.
