Dances of Vice: Queer Tango

This party is named after a film about a Weimar Republic nude dancer, which should give you a pretty good idea of the decadent vibe the soiree is going for. Tonight’s edition, again held at the historic Players (a former gentlemen's club, in the old-school sense of the term), serves as the opening party of the NYC Queer Tango Festival (queertangofestival.com),with plenty of live performances, DJ Lexa on the decks and clubland lifer Lee Chappell serving as the host. For those of us not fully schooled in the sensual Argentine dance, the evening opens with tango lessons.
