Dark Dark Dark + A Hawk and a Hacksaw + Pillars & Tongues

Dark Dark Dark, a deliciously moody chamber-pop combo whose members hail from New York, New Orleans and Minneapolis, airs the cinematic sounds of its current disc Wild Go. Quality support comes from percussionist Jeremy Barnes (formerly of Neutral Milk Hotel) and violinist Heather Trost as the excellent A Hawk and a Hacksaw; the duo's devotion to Eastern European roots music is unrivaled in Western pop.
