Darmstadt 2012: Either/Or + Object Collection

Either/Or and Object Collection don't really have all that much in common, save that each is an important and busy local organization devoted to the cause of enriching New York's new-music ecosphere. Either/Or's program features new works by Australian composers Chris Mass, Andrew Byrne and Thomas Meadowcroft. We can't tell you what you'll see from Object Collection, an ensemble that's as devoted to conceptual art and theater as it is to music—but then, that's frequently the case when we actually know what they're going to present. You won't go wrong expecting the unexpected.
