Darmstadt 2012: Face the Music + Balún

Face the Music, the remarkable teenage contemporary-classical brigade fielded by the Kaufman Center, heads out to Brooklyn for a meeting with Balún, a dreamy synth-pop band led by composer Angélica Negrón. Face the Music will be playing a new piece by Negrón and additional works by Osvaldo Golijov and Lev "Ljova" Zhurbin; Balún will preview a forthcoming album and also play with the Kaufman bunch.
