Darmstadt 2012: John Cage Centennial Concert

It should surprise absolutely no one that the canon-makers of Darmstadt would see fit to honor John Cage, who is without question one of the key figures in contemporary music. Marking the composer's centenary, the String Orchestra of Brooklyn and Ghostlight Chorus join forces for a program that includes Cage's Twenty-Three, String Quartet in Four Parts and Hymns and Variations.
