As with the charts he writes for his main band, the Bad Plus, drummer Dave King invests the music he composes for his Trucking Co. with proggy complexity and an infectious, pop-friendly momentum. You'll hear from that group both Mar 7 and 8, as part of this sweet-looking residency, featuring a pair of sets nightly. Other projects on offer include a trio with saxist Tim Berne and guitarist Ryan Ferreira (Mar 7), the Gang Font (Mar 8)—a punk-meets-prog collective featuring Hüsker Dü bassist Greg Norton—and duos with both pianist Matt Mitchell and Bad Plus bassist Reid Anderson (Mar 9).
