David Amram

David Amram is a peripatetic musical mad scientist who's been mixing pop, jazz, world-music and classical moves for decades now, in the process writing more than 100 orchestral and chamber works, not to mention a few soundtracks you've likely heard (Splendor in the Grass and the original Manchurian Candidate). Tonight Amram continues the 80th-birthday celebration he began Thu 11 at Symphony Space.
