Come bid a formal farewell to free-jazz saxophone titan David S. Ware, who passed away at age 62 this past October. The musical portion of the service, featuring various esteemed Ware associates, should be a stunner. You'll hear solo performances from Cooper-Moore and William Parker; duos from Muhammad Ali and Darius Jones, and Joe Morris and Warren Smith; the trio of Morris, Andrew Cyrille and Daniel Carter; and finally the surviving three members of Ware's celebrated working quartet: Parker, Matthew Shipp and Guillermo E. Brown.
