David S. Ware Trio

We have a tough time imagining what the average tourist will make of David S. Ware's ecstatic free-jazz eruptions here, though the open-minded visitor won't have such a hard time tracing Ware's Sonny Rollins–inspired lineage. For the converted this is a welcome chance to catch Ware with bassist William Parker and drummer Warren Smith, the band on his inspiring new AUM Fidelity CD, Onecept.
