DCINY: Shining Light

Distinguished Concerts International New York presents this minifestival dedicated to the music of California choral composer Morten Lauridsen. The festival includes a wind ensemble concert on Thu 29, the NYC premiere of the documentary Shining Night: A Portrait of Composer Morten Lauridsen on Fri 30, a performance of Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna on Sat 31 and a concert of choral music by Lauridsen and the effervescent Eric Whitacre (who also conducts) on Sun 1.
