The D.C. band Deathfix includes a couple of dudes that should be well-known to all you indie-rock obsessives out there: Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty, handling guitar and vocals here, and Rich Morel, Bob Mould's partner in the Blowoff venture. The band's got a cool new self-titled debut—on Dischord, of course—and an ambitious set of proggy, retro-leaning art pop.
