Deep Space: King Britt

Dance-music deity François K is behind this great affair, focusing on dub in all its glorious, echo-drenched forms (vintage Jamaican, modern and what he calls “outer-planetary”). Mr. K is away tonight, but—as usual—he’s secured an excellent fill-in, with man-of-many-genres King Britt taking control of the decks. Agape, featuring Nadia Harris, performs live, and Erick Paredes lays down the opening set.
