Dessen/Gauthier/Honda + Erik Friedlander and Friends

Violinist and Stone guest curator Jeff Gauthier engages in a bit of shuffle-play tonight, performing alongside two musicians who led their own projects last night, pianist Motoko Honda and trombonist Michael Dessen. Up first is New York cellist Erik Friedlander, who has released a pair of strong discs on Gauthier's Cryptogramophone label.
