Deadpan synth-pop heroes Devo are coming to New York—but don't expect to hear classics like "Whip It" and "Girl U Want," because the iconic outfit will be revisiting its early, experimental recordings on this tour (as heard on Devo's Hardcore volumes, reissued last year). As bassist Jerry Casale told Rolling Stone, "It might create the early Devo experience of people yelling at us and walking out." Ah, the good ol' days.
