Diana Jones was adopted as a baby and raised in NYC, but in her teens found herself drawn to country music—at which point she discovered that her birth family came from the Tennessee Hills. She was reunited with them, and continues to make genuinely stirring, melancholy old-time music, as evidenced on the lovely Better Times Will Come, sure to appeal to fans of Gillian Welch.
