Indie-pop duo Diet Cig, hailing from New Paltz, New York, plays refreshingly upbeat tunes with a pop-punk core, singing about parties, college and boys. It’s seriously catchy stuff laced with just the right amount of twee. They'll bound through selections from their debut album, Swear I'm Good at This, which surfaced last year and was greeted with a scathing Pitchfork review—which was greeted with an equally-scathing Twitter riot.
