Dig Deeper: Roy Lee Johnson

As usual, the good folks behind the retro-minded Dig Deeper series have unearthed a gem: veteran Southern soul man Roy Lee Johnson, author of the killer 1961 gem "Mr. Moonlight," later covered by the Beatles a few years after its release. We hear that Johnson hasn't played NYC since the ’70s, so come give him a warm Brooklyn welcome.
