Two of the city's underground-dance-music shindigs team up for this hot affair featuring a pair of Detroit mainstays. Andrés is also known as DJ Dez, the touring turntablist for Slum Village; his newer tracks take Slum Village's head-nodding, soul-drenched sound and eases it ever so gently in a housier direction. Terrence Parker, pulling double duty (he's playing at Warm Up earlier today), is one of house music's unsung heroes; despite his relatively low profile, he's behind an astounding number of stone-cold classics.
