More than 300 musicians premiere Welsh composer Karl Jenkins's large-scale choral work The Peacemakers to coincide with Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, the launch of DCINY's second Global Sing for Peace campaign and the release of a London Symphony Orchestra recording of the piece on EMI Classics. Also on the program are two more works by Jenkins—his violin concerto Sarikiz, with soloist Jorge Avila, and The Wooing of Etain—as well as Carol Barratt's Fantasy Prelude.
