Down + Danava + Haarp

Ex-Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo has always been obsessed with projecting authenticity, perhaps due to shame surrounding his glam-metal roots. Fortunately, his cohorts in Down—Corrosion of Conformity's Pepper Keenan, Eyehategod's Jimmy Bower and Crowbar's Kirk Windstein—have impeccable metal cred. The band's sinister Southern metal should go over pretty dang well live. Also on the bill are ’70s-style prog-metalists Danava and infernal New Orleans doom types Haarp (signees to Anselmo's Housecore label).
