Darmstadt Institute 2011. For nearly three decades, cellist Daniel Goode and clarinetist Bill Hellermann have recruited adventurous players to bring underrepresented, experimental music to clubs and concert halls across New York. Tonight, they are joined by the underground art songsmith David Garland, who will perform three pieces from his forthcoming album, Conversations with the Cinnamon Skeleton. Also on the program are equally eccentric text-sound pieces from Robert Ashley, Goode, Richard Kostelanetz, Jackson Mac Low and Anne Tardos.
