Dzul Dance

Artistic director Javier Dzul choreographs Maya 2012: A New Beginning, which fuses Mayan ritual dances with modern forms. In the piece, Dzul presents the end of the Mayan calendar this year as a beginning rather than a prophecy of impending doom.
