Ed Askew + Pull My Daisy

Ed Askew made his debut recording, Ask the Unicorn, on the famed ESP-Disk label in 1968. Like much of the label's output, it was little noticed in its time but has aged well—ditto for Askew, a longtime New Yorker whose ’80s cassette album Imperfiction recently gained a proper release from Drag City. Also on the bill is Pull My Daisy, which combines eccentric local folkies Baby Copperhead and Brian Zeeger.
