Eddie Palmieri and Michel Camilo

Eddie Palmieri has been at the top of the Latin-jazz game for more than 40 years, offering fans subtle harmonies and heavy pianistic flurries. With him, you get salsa and then some. Palmieri teams up with Dominican pianist Michel Camilo, who spent much of the '90s dipping into classical waters, but is now back to offer the quicksilver Afro-Cuban runs and choppy, meter-challenging phrases that made him a star.
