Eivind Opsvik's Overseas + Hanne Hukkelberg

Despite their instrumental-jazz milieu, Norwegian bassist Eivind Opsvik’s compositions come across as true songs. Warm, subtle and dreamlike, many of the pieces performed by Opsvik’s working band, Overseas, could accommodate a soul or pop vocal with room to spare.
