Electric Six

Detroit's Electric Six celebrate pop music's primal virtues, with a sense of humor. The band's brand of balls-out disco-punk often attracts the novelty label; but while there are laughs to be had on every E6 record, this band's style and virtuosity resist joke-rock oblivion. The band's latest, KILL, is out now on Metropolis Records.
