As an actor, the astute and adorable Emily Bergl has distinguished herself onstage and onscreen (Desperate Housewives); turns out she also can sing with a lot of old-fashioned charm. Now she continues her meteoric cabaret ascent in a debut Carlyle set, devoted to New York City songs from Rodgers and Hart through Cyndi Lauper.
