Empire Viols

This viol-harpsichord ensemble continues to champion 18th- and 19th-century rep with an English program, "Isle of Viols," which includes fantasies by Purcell, Gibbons, Morley and Locke, along with lyric viol music by Hume, divisions by Simpson and a trio sonata by Boyce.
