Endangered Species: The Music of Wayne Shorter

Trumpeter-arranger David Weiss assembles a little big band to take on the music of mercurial jazz icon Wayne Shorter. The saxist's compositions are full of outward finesse, but like those of the great Thelonious Monk, they've been known to undo the best of musicians. Weiss has hired a top-shelf ensemble to prevent any mishaps.
