Neo-soul innovator Erykah Badu—whose influence on contemporary R&B can’t be overstated—has teased a follow-up to 2010’s New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh for years. There are still no definitive plans, but her last mixtape, But U Cain’t Use My Phone, and its incredibly dreamy “Hotline Bling” cover that rendered the original obsolete (sorry, Aubrey) had us mighty satisfied.
