Alt scene bigwigs like Patti Smith and Of Montreal headline this stuffed Hamptons festival that also features Best Coast, Mates of State, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, and many others. What we're most curious about is the "glamping" (glamorous camping) housing option (shuttles will be available from the Southampton LIRR station). I know this is just falling back on decades of Hamptons clichés, but that sounds about right.
