Make Music New York. Hangdog lounge singer Ethan Lipton tops a brilliantly diverse bill as part of today's around-town festivities. Also playing Joe's Pub's outdoor stage today: Afro-Colombian fusioneers M.A.K.U Soundsystem, who mix up jazzy flourishes, distorted guitars and ska basslines, while BK all-gal trio the Bandana Splits sings in ’60s girl-group harmony, and singer and violinist Tracy Bonham (of “Mother Mother” fame) delivers rustic, Southern sounds.
