Few artists have spread the gospel of eclecticism as zealously as guitarist Eugene Chadbourne, whose three-decade career has found him improvising alongside John Zorn, covering Jimi Hendrix with the late Mothers of Invention drummer Jimmy Carl Black and interpreting Erik Satie on banjo.
