Evolving Ear Festival

The pitch line for this minifest ("two nights of cosmic Americana") tells you much of what you need to know. Guitarist Chris Forsyth, who rose to prominence in the deranged experimental trio Peeesseye and now works in a fruitful avant-roots realm, curates these bills, which feature kindred artists Meg Baird, Steve Gunn and Loren Connors (all playing tonight), and Cian Nugent, William Tyler and Forsyth himself (all appearing Sat 17).
