Evolving Music: Remember Raphe Malik

Evolving Music, an ongoing avant-jazz showcase, pays tribute to the late trumpet virtuoso Raphe Malik. The program includes an open conduction by reedist Sabir Mateen (10pm), Mateen's quintet (8:50pm), a brief film on Malik (8:30pm) and bassist Larry Roland's double-drum quartet (7:30pm).
