Fall Figaro Fest

The crown jewel of Amore Opera's fall season is the American premiere of the recently rediscovered Mercadante opera I due Figaro, which was a smashing success in Salzburg this summer under the direction of Riccardo Muti. Amore is taking on the entire Figaro trilogy this fall, starting this week with performances of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro and I due Figaro, followed by a staging of Rossini's The Barber of Seville in Dec.
