Festival Flamenco Gitano

Opening its latest season, the invaluable World Music Institute presents a showcase for the best and brightest in traditional and contemporary flamenco. Revered singer and dancer Juana la del Pipa takes center stage during Fiesta Jerez, a Gypsy variety show, on Oct 6; the Oct 7 show features vocal matriarch La Farruca and dance prodigy El Carpeta.
