Flexible Orchestra

The flavor-of-the-moment for Daniel Goode's ever-evolving ensemble is the accordion, with a current set-up of five squeezeboxers, violin, cello, bass, flute and percussion. Tonight's program underscores this odd instrumentation with Guy Klucevsek’s Suite for Accordion and Flexible Orchestra, Goode's Mahler reduction Adagietto-ed and new music from Flexible collaborators Kamala Sankaram, Barbara Benary and Bill Hellermann.
