Frank London's Klezmer Brass All-Stars' Klezmer-Bhangra Extravaganza

Trumpeter Frank London, one of the founding Klezmatics, is at the fore of the avant-klez jazz movement. With his All-Stars, London explores the fusions among Gypsy, Arabic and Jewish melodies—and at tonight’s show, he teams up with bhangra-meisters Deep Singh, Zeb Bangash, Michael Winograd and Bombay Rickey for an evening titled “The Stars of Kalarachi: Southeast Brooklyn Meets Southeast Asia.” Sure sounds spicy to us.
