Fred Frith

With the arrival of a new month at the Stone comes the commencement of a new series: this one curated by the venerable Swiss improv label Intakt, which makes a big splash with two opening sets from veteran guitarist and composer Fred Frith (of Henry Cow, Naked City and more). The 8pm set finds Frith accompanied by Shahzad Ismaily on bass and Matthias Bossi on drums; at 10pm Frith spars with drummer Lucas Niggli.
