Fred Hersch

Following a period of calamitous health issues, pianist and composer Fred Hersch surges triumphantly forward. This week he's playing duos with singer Kate McGarry (Wed 2), guitarist Julian Lage (Thu 3) and saxophonist Joshua Redman (Sun 6), and leading his working trio augmented with saxophonist Noah Preminger and trumpeter Ralph Alessi (Fri 4, Sat 5).
