Galactic

Future-funk powerhouse Galactic is straight from the stripped-down, organ-fueled Meters school, but the band knows when to spike the punch with acid guitar, loops and effects. The band kicks off four nights at the suitably retro Brooklyn Bowl with some ace special guests, including Corey Glover (Living Colour), Corey Henry (Rebirth Brass Band), Pedrito Martinez and the New Orleans Suspects, a group formed of ex-members of the Radiators and other NOLA institutions.
