Get the Blessing, a boisterous, danceable jazz-rock collective from the U.K., features bassist Jim Barr and drummer Clive Deamer, both auxiliary members of a little band called Portishead. Tonight the group brings its potently quirky originals to midtown, supporting the recent OC DC LP (whose title likely refers to the group's shared Ornette Coleman jones).
