Gilad Hekselman

Guitarist Gilad Hekselman offers lilting postbop with plenty of sublimated fire. At Jazz Gallery on Dec 5, he leads a trio with pianist Shai Maestro and drummer Henry Cole; then at Smalls on Dec 16, he fronts his working quartet with saxist Mark Turner, bassist Joe Martin and drummer Marcus Gilmore.
