The much-beloved voice of Squeeze (the one with the high, smooth voice—not gravelly Chris Difford) plays an acoustic solo gig in support of his latest album, Happy Endings. While Tilbrook's newer material rarely matches vintage Squeeze, it's all charming, soulful stuff, and these latest arrangements remind us of Al Green in romantic mode.
