Glimmerglass Festival 2012

The legendary Glimmerglass Festival opens its 2012 season with an intimate new production of Verdi's Aida featuring Michelle Johnson in the title role, Noah Stewart as Radames and Daveda Karanas as Amneris. Glowing in the spotlight is this season's artist-in-residence, bass-baritone Eric Owens, as Amonasro. Owens will also star as Stephen Kumalo in the Festival's production of Lost in the Stars later this month. See glimmerglass.org for details and travel information.
