Nasal-voiced Violent Femmes frontman Gordon Gano has enlisted Bogmen members Billy and Brendan Ryan to help him flesh out his ever-eccentric pop vision—this time hopping from funky Talking Heads–style grooves to wry alt country. Opening the show, Louisiana's Lost Bayou Ramblers play swampy, foot-stomping, traditional deep-South roots-Cajun music with a rhythmic blues flavor.
