Greg Laswell + Elizabeth and the Catapult

For his fourth Vanguard album, Landline, we're told that Cali songman Greg Laswell relocated to a converted church in Maine (the last album's work took place in a rustic cabin in Arizona—tough life). Here he serves sweet, slightly maudlin folk-rock from that disc, which features lady vocals from Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Sia and Elizabeth Ziman—who opens the show with her modest piano pop.
